RIBS FLOOD CONTROL BARRIER

DESIGN

RIBS® provide the best value for height achieved by any individual unit and are among the easiest soil filled barriers to remove on the market. They are comprised of a heavy-duty, woven, polypropylene coated fabric for a water resistant seal and the unique trapezoidal design creates a downward “sealing” pressure; RIBS bags seal tighter as water gets higher. They have been tested and approved by the USACE for flood defense operations.

EXTERNAL FILLING RIBS CAGE®

The construction of RIBS® requires an external filling frame which hold the units in place until they are filled with fill material.
The RIBS Cage® are easily attached and removed from units being filled, are lightweight, and can be lifted by two workers as your barrier is erected.
In addition to our RIBS Cage®, we do have trailer units for large scale deployments which we are capable of providing.
