Flood Defense Group Secures 2-Year Contract as the Primary Flood Barrier Supplier to US Government
Flood Defense Group is proud to announce that we have won a two-year contract as the primary supplier of temporary flood barriers to the US government through the US Army Corps of Engineers National Flood Fight Material Center (NFFMC). When overwhelming flood threats occur that are beyond the capabilities of state and municipal authorities, the US federal government steps in to protect its citizens and Flood Defense Group will be there to help.
The National Flood Fight Materiel Center at the Rock Island District was established to supplement district warehoused levels, provide cost-effective surge and replenishment support, and reestablish district stocks during recovery operations. The NFFMC maintains baseline inventories and IDIQ contracts with capabilities to provide flood fight materials support to districts throughout the Continental United States.
NFFMC has the technical understanding of watersheds throughout the USA to predict upcoming flood events with a high degree of accuracy and regional warehouses throughout the country to mobilize a flood defense response that is second to none around the world and Flood Defense Group is honored to support this esteemed organization.
